Bettina von Arnim
The name of Bettina von Arnim (1785 – 1859) goes on numerous occasions together with that of prominent intellectuals and artists of his time. Despite her personal and public career, she highlights her status as a feminist avant la lettre. The monograph presents a portrait and a study of her work, paying special attention to the question of authorship and the use of certain poetic strategies by the writer in order to achieve recognition in the public sphere.
